Under the framework of the pedagogical monitoring which is guaranteed by the Languages Intensive teaching Centre of Algiers 2 University for the national contracting companies and organizations, in order to ensure a qualitative foreign languages training, the Languages Intensive teaching Centre organized on November 3rd, 2021 at the conference room of Building C in Bouzaréah, a pedagogical day on the stakes of foreign languages teaching in the professional context.
The pedagogical day began by the word of Pr. Wafa Bedjaoui, the Languages Intensive teaching Centre Head, who spoke about the importance of this meeting and wished it to come to successful conclusions to benefit all the attendees.
For her part, Dr. Assia Kaced, the Vice-rector in charge of External Relations and Cooperation, valued the event and focused on the importance of choosing the teaching methods and their impact on the educational attainment of students and learners.
The programme of the day has included a lecture given by Professor Djebli Mohand Ouali on how to conceive training methods of foreign languages teaching for adults.
The pedagogical day aims besides to support these companies in the training of their executives and to propose innovative methods that go with the current evolutions in languages learning field. Two main lines have been focused during this day, namely the learners’ needs according to the specialty requirements, and the initial conception of the teaching method under the foreign language learning for special purposes.
The meeting ended by a debate opened for the attendees.
